Out of hours and Weekend working

Due to the nature of the services provided by CFTS, employees may occasionally be required to work outside of normal office hours. This may include evenings, weekends, or public holidays where operational requirements make such work necessary.

Out-of-hours work is typically scheduled in advance whenever possible. However, circumstances may arise where urgent support, maintenance, or operational intervention is required.

Employees asked to perform work outside of normal hours are expected to respond professionally and carry out the required duties in accordance with company procedures and standards.

Where applicable, compensation or time arrangements relating to out-of-hours work will be handled in accordance with company policies regarding overtime or time off in lieu.

In such situations we take your monthly pay and divide it into working hours from Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm excluding 1 hour for lunch break equals 8 hours per day, 5 days a week excluding public hols etc.

Per Diem, is paid on all external jobs that takes the majority of the day.

In Kampala 7,000 Ushs
Outside Kampala 15,000 Ushs
Outside Uganda $25.00-50.00 USD (if long term contract this may be negotiated)
Because of the technical and sometimes physical nature of our work you need to be in sound mind and body, it is not good practice to over exert yourself by working extended hours for prolonged periods of time.
